Ten years ago, to the delight of aficionados everywhere, the very first iconic, exotic Escurio cigar took to the stage. A cigar with a rhythm all its own. Now we have revitalised that blend as only we could. Taking aged Brazilian tobacco found nowhere else on the planet and interweaving it with the mellow notes of our signature creaminess.
The gran toro's wrapper, binder and filler tobaccos in the blend were aged for a combined 45 years. In addition, one of the Dominican filler tobaccos was fermented in a bourbon cask, which adds sweetness and extra depth to the cigar. Together, the tobaccos create a dynamic play of taste, which is enhanced by the bigger 56 ring gauge of the gran toro – this allows the Brazilian and Dominican filler tobaccos to take centre stage. A samba of taste with medium intensity and a full body.
