Java cigars are an extraordinarily unusual handcrafted from two of today's hardest working cigar makers: Jonathan Drew of Drew Estate and Rocky Patel. They were introduced in 2004 and launched in the first quarter of 2005. To say the least, it's a one-two punch, and wow does this cigar pack a punch, not in strength, but in flavor. Java is a somewhat sweet Nicaraguan with a dark, oily maduro wrapper and an aged combination of Nicaraguan long-fillers. These cigars were progressively infused with the wonderful flavor of gourmet mocha while maturing, transforming a classic Nicaraguan cigar into an exceptionally rich cigar that burns smooth from start to end, leaving an exceedingly pleasant aftertaste.
